STACOAT-V2 is standard grey (± RAL 7001) or 'Natural' (± pale) with a matte finish. 'Natural' can be colored on-site with specific STACPIGMENT-Colors.
STACOAT-V2 is a 1-component system, based on the highest quality novolac vinylesters, which co-polymerize with 'styrene bridges' via a catalytic radical reaction, triggered by specific initiators (see The Story of V). Thanks to a specially developed technology, it is modified to be shrinkage-free.
STACOAT-V2 has > 96% by weight of solids and therefore a very low VOC emission. It is reinforced with the highest quality MIO (micaceous iron oxide (III)) flakes.
STACOAT-V2 is typically applied in 2 coats of 400 µm NDFT (Nominal Dry Film Thickness), with or without primer, by roller, brush, and spray gun.
